My books
Below are links to the books that I require and recommend for POLI:3120 The Criminal Justice System. Clicking on the cover images takes you to the most recent editions on Amazon.com, but other editions or versions may be available there or from other places. I will provide more details on the books in class.
There are three required books for this course. Scheb and Scheb is the main text for the course. The other two are primarily for reference purposes.
There are several recommended books for this course. The first two listed are detailed examinations of two famous cases and those are the two I ordered as recommended books and have extensive notes for them on ICON. The rest involve particular cases or highlight aspects of the criminal justice process and provide additional information for background or context on aspects of the process.
