Below are links to the books that I require and recommend for POLI:3120 The Criminal Justice System. The links are to the most recent editions on Amazon.com, but other editions or versions may be available there or from other places. I will provide more details on the books in class.
There are three required books for this course. Scheb and Scheb is the main text for the course. The other two are primarily for reference purposes.
There are several recommended books for this course. The first two listed are detailed examinations of two famous cases. These highlight aspects of the criminal justice process and I have extensive notes for each on ICON. The other books provide additional information for background or context on aspects of the process.
